The Food Innovation Academy (FIA) in Vlaardingen started to use an ultra-modern training bakery in early June. Under the watchful eye of a number of people closely involved in the project, Alfred Bruin, FIA director and acting director of Royal Steensma, performed the opening act.

The new ovens for the Food Innovation Academy (FIA) have been delivered to Vlaardingen today. In the next couple of days they will be installed and put into practice. Our partner Veenhuizen Groep has provided three MIWE convection ovens, deck ovens for bread and pastry and a rack oven for bread as well as a full proofing machine.
